Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information SaferClaw collects, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: email address, auth provider identity (for example Google), and account identifiers from our auth provider.
- Profile data: username/handle and avatar information you choose to provide.
- Build data: builds you create, hardware details, models, skills, and related metadata (timestamps, visibility, likes).
- Operational and security data: rate-limit logs, error logs, and anti-abuse records needed to protect service reliability.
2. How we use information
- To provide authentication, account access, and profile features.
- To store and display builds according to your selected visibility settings.
- To improve search and ranking quality, including cached skill search results.
- To detect abuse, enforce limits, and maintain platform security.
3. Third-party services and data sharing
- We use Supabase for authentication, database, and storage infrastructure.
- Skill search may use third-party APIs (for example ClawHub) when local/indexed results are insufficient.
- We do not sell personal information. We share data with service providers only as needed to run the product.
4. Cookies, local storage, and sessions
- We use session/auth storage required for login and secure access.
- We may use browser local storage for UX improvements (for example cached avatar URLs).
- Disabling certain browser storage features may affect login and account-related functionality.
5. Data retention
- We retain account and build data while your account is active.
- Some security and operational logs may be retained for a limited period to prevent abuse and diagnose incidents.
- Cached search records may persist temporarily to reduce external API traffic and improve performance.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can update your profile information from your account settings.
- You can set build visibility and delete builds you own.
- You may request account deletion or privacy-related support by contacting us.
7. Security
- We apply technical safeguards such as authentication controls, access policies, and rate limiting.
- No system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your own account credentials.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates take effect when posted on this page.
